The Cross in Your Path

You may have noticed that much of today's ministry comes neatly packaged along with a slick marketing strategy.

The offer of health, wealth, and success in all you do is a pleasant detour from the actual message of the Lord Jesus.

Perhaps you never really considered that even though salvation is the free gift of God, transformation to spiritual maturity is not a gift at all. It's a process.

The cross of Calvary was God's appointment for his son. The Cross in Your Path is the Son's appointment for You. This book is concerned with that second cross, the one you are to take up and carry.

This book offers no cheap seats or a soft landing.

It does offer insight into God's divinely chosen course for your deeper spiritual walk.

Get ready for a deeper understanding of his ways.

Get ready to embrace The Cross in Your Path.

The Cross in Your Path

I have read a lot of "Christian" books in my life, over 3,100 for sure, I quit counting after I had to sell or get rid of my personal library due to an abrupt move that came in my life. A few months ago I had the wonderful occasion to come upon an old friend and brother in Christ that I was close to for several years in a small but precious local assembly. He gave me a copy of a book he had recently written after being asked to finish a three chapter kick start of another old brother who was already a well known Christian author. This little book, "The Cross in Your Path", arrived just in time. Not just in my life, but in the life of the body of Christ on the earth today. That's a very bold statement, and it's certainly not meant to imply that the corporate people of God are dependent on any book, just that they are indeed dependent on the true message so clearly, carefully, and yes, gently outlined for us by the authors. I will let this book speak for itself but let me say that after I read it I gave copies to my close friends and brothers and family members and have been telling others about it and explaining how cheaply and easily they could obtain it. I plan to continue buying and passing out copies as my funds permit. I urge everyone who's Christian life is hurting, bogged down, or even on life support to get this book, get ready for the journey of your life, and take some Tylenol.
